INGANTA RAYUWA PEACE NETWORK is a Youth-led / survivor-led National Non-Governmental Organization founded on 11th September 2016. At IRN, our core value is focused on Peace-building, countering violent extremism and prevention of violence against women and children. However, we have in existence other areas of humanitarian intervention,
IRN has made it a standard and best practice not to co-mingle donor funds for the sake of transparency and accountability and as well to display financial probity and integrity which is one of IRN core values. INGANTA RAYUWA PEACE NETWORK. Budgets are prepared by Finance office on annual basis and checked/ reviewed by a separate entity and endorsed by the head of the organization.

At IRN, our approach towards peacebuilding focuses on strengthening the sustainability of peace so as to reduce lapsing or relapsing into violence and conflict.

Our News and Events

Girl Child Education

Between April and August, 2017,on the Girl Child Education (WAVE Project) IRN reached 400 girls on girl child education. Issues on girl-child associated with violent extremists group(s) were discussed in efforts to curtail its occurrences. Education materials were distributed to beneficiaries.

Personal hygiene and environmental sanitation.

In February 2017 IRN reached 316 pupils (198 girls and 118 boys between the ages of 5-15) in Kolere Primary School in Mubi North. They were provided with basic knowledge on personal hygiene and environmental sanitation. Education materials and Hygiene kits were distributed to the most vulnerable pupils, and a variety of recreational activities were carried out.

I am a Believer’ Peace workshop. November, 2016.

In partnership with Atiku Centre, IRN hosted “I am a Believer Peace Workshop” bringing five hundred and fifty (550) uniformed religious youth Organizations from Mubi North, Mubi South, and Maiha Local Government Areas for peace dialogues, mutual understanding and peacebuilding.
